I am looking forward to working remotely with other filmmakers in pre-production and production.
I am looking forward to working with other young filmmakers on (short) films to shoot in the beautiful locations Europe has to offer, especially in Spain and Germany for submission to film festivals, especially in the United States. To collaborate in creating something that represents who we are as directors, costume designers, and cinematographers - that reaches the pictures that ignited our desire to work in film.
I am currently working on writing my scripts, reading scripts, and gaining knowledge on structure, and writing. Gaining experience in directing and leading, bringing visions to life.
I want to write films that have dialogues with meaning, dialogues that are quoted because they put into words what is felt but couldn´t be expressed. The reason I write for the screen is to create my stories through what is seen, so I want to write scene descibritations that paint a picture that can say more - than a thousand words ever could. Scenes that happen in beautiful places, beautiful love stories (in every aspect) that are filled with lots of dance and music, because there is beauty everywhere - and I want to set a light on that, set my words and directed lens on it to bring it across on the silver screen.
Together with others, I inspire to create choreographies and costume designs.
You are what you admire, so may I represent the films I wish I had written and directed. As well as the series, I wish I had been part of. Elegance meets Romance meets Dance.
Dirty Dancing 2, The Notebook, Titanic, Flashdance, Footloose (2006), Grease, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Mamma Mia, West Side Story
Velvet (Spanish Production)
I love coming-of-age movies, they touch my heart in a way no other genre can. I am usually not a person to write comedy but in those stories, I adore the lightness it gives them. So here are the series and movies I wish I had written and directed but I couldn´t because I was the little or not-so-little girl watching and dancing along to them. Dance and Music meets Romance.
Cinderella Story, A Gurls Wurld, Camp Rock, High School Musical, Aquamarine, H2o, The Princess Diaries, Monte Carlo, To all the boys I´ve loved before,
Violetta (Latinamerican Production), Rock it (German Production)
The summer I turned pretty,
I want to write for animation because in animation everything is possible, the genre of wonder and joy - especially for the ones with the light in their eyes brighter than anything else in this world, our future. The Animations alike the ones I want to create. Barbie (2001-2011), Mulan
As a Screenwriter and Director, I want to show people a new way to see their own world, I want my written and/or directed films with their stories to make people see the world differently - not by telling them to do so but by showing them how I see the world. I think the narrative has a huge impact on us human beings, everything I want to create represents a hopeful narrative (because as my favorite poet, Bianca Sparacino, says: The kindest people do not exist - they choose to soften where circumstance has tried to harden them, they choose to believe in goodness, because they have seen firsthand why compassion is so necessary. They have seen firsthand why tenderness is so important in this world.) So on that note, here are a few documentaries I wish I had been a part of. Harry & Meghan - because it brings those things across that mean so much to me - done so perfectly in creating change beautifully, Britney Vs. Spears - "Until you scream" inspired me in every single way, Miss Americana. A few recent movies I was amazed by their representation combined with the plotline. Look both ways, Stand tall 2, Purple Hearts
